VP – Global Trade Finance

This role will report to the Department Head, where the department’s primary function is to promote trade finance products in the Asia region. Trade finance products will include LC Forfaiting, LC Confirmation, Invoice Discount Financing, silent payment guarantee, import/export line & structured trade finance.

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead the commodity & structured trade finance teams to promote Trade Finance products in the Asian region in partnership with relevant RMs (covering regional top-tier MNC clients) to achieve profit objectives.
• Conduct direct marketing & business promotion to MNCs in Singapore
• Involve in formulating and developing business plans relating to Trade Finance products, guidelines and strategies
• Prepare internal credit applications and/or necessary reports which include risk analysis of the customer, trade flows, market & industry information etc for approval

 

Requirements:

• Degree holder with min. 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong working knowledge of trade transaction flow, trade structures & transactional risks related to commodity financing
• Supervisory experience is advantageous
• Travelling will be required
