AVP (Credit & Research)

Responsibilities:
- Provide industry research analysis service to all the bank’s Asian branches/subsidiaries; including in-depth financial analysis, credit review and financial/cashflow projection of customer’s portfolio.
- Provide timely industry information & market intelligence to these Asian units, with the objective of enabling branches to develop strategic marketing plan to proactively capture business opportunities
- Conducting industry portfolio analysis and monitoring and advising on credit risk control
- Support marketing or pitching together with RM/business promotion team through industry/company research
- Hold credit seminars or industry briefings when appropriate
- Liaise with branches/offices in Asia and Head Office for credit approval related issues
- Meet with customers when required on industry research analysis issues
Requirements:
- Degree with at least 8 years of relevant credit analysis & research experience
- Strong financial analysis, modeling and cashflow projection experience
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Main target industries : oil & gas (upstream), energy, mining, petrochemical & shipping knowledge
- Candidates from credit rating environment or equity research background in the above target industries are preferred.
- Business travel in SE Asia region is required.
